In the second half Diana Maneta, Executive Director of the Montana Renewable Energy Association, and Bryan von Lossberg, Executive Director of AERO: Alternative Energy Resources Organization, discuss how Montana could and should move toward more clean, fair, affordable, and distributed energy.

Who would associate being blind with a passion for space travel and exploration? In this nearly hour-long show, UM Journalism student Krysti Shallenberger talks with her sister-in-law Annaliese DeVyldere about the intersections of those two experiences in her life. Local Food and Fair Trade: Double Whammy

This show has two approximately half-hour halves (produced by Clark Grant & Beth Judy, aired Nov. 5, 2013). The first focuses on the Missoula Community Food Co-Op, an access point for local foods in the Missoula area. It starts in the kitchen of Amy Weiss, one of the working members of the co-op, and goes on to visit with co-op employee Kate Keller, who talks about the co-op’s inception and construction. In the second half, Martha Newell explores Fair Trade with Denise Attwood, founder of Ganesh Himal Trading Company in Spokane: What is it, how does it work, the whys and wherefores.
