This episode features interviews with two women working at the forefront of transportation nationally and in the state of Montana. First is Virginia Sullivan, Director of Travel Initiatives for Adventure Cycling. Headquartered in Missoula, they research and produce cycling maps for the Adventure Cycling Route Network and work to inspire and empower people to travel by bicycle.
The second half of the program is a conversation with Nancy Wilson, Director of the Associated Students of the University of Montana. Nancy is a transportation advocate and state representative in the Montana legislature. In addition to her transportation advocacy work, she talks about her experiences in state government, starting with her work in neighborhoods in Missoula.
